Our clinic embraces a holistic approach to pet health and wellness, which means looking at the “whole” patient including the medical history, diet, environment, potential stress factors and relationship with owner. Dr. Wayne Geltman is a certified veterinary acupuncturist through I.V.A.S. and he offers a variety of alternative therapies including acupuncture, VOM a chiropractic technique, nutrition, homeopathic and herbal remedies. Dr. Geltman strives to integrate the best of western medicine with complementary therapies to provide our patients with the finest veterinary healthcare.

Dr. Geltman utilizes several forms of acupuncture which includes electroacupuncture and aquapuncture to treat many conditions including hip dysplasia, arthritis, intervertebral disc disease, seizures, nerve paralysis,  feline constipation syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, thyroid disease, immune system problems, dermatitis and chronic pain management. More recently he has introduced a chiropractic technique called Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation or VOM, which can be used alone or combined with acupuncture to treat and prevent a wide range of conditions. Dr. Geltman is also utilizing alternative treatments either alone or in conjunction with conventional therapy for certain types of cancers. He has begun using Neoplasene, which is formulated from an extract of the “bloodroot” plant. It has been used topically, orally and by injection.
